Dana White cuts Paul Daley and Kimbo Slice from the UFC
Following the performances during (and after) their fights at UFC 113, promotion's president Dana White declared that Kimbo Slice and Paul Daley will never fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship again. Talking about Paul Daley's outbrust following the loss to Josh Koscheck, White talked about his disappointment:
"He'll never come back. I don't care if he's the best 170-pounder in the world. He's never coming back here. There's no excuse for that. You never hit a guy like that after the bell."
As for the money-making Kimbo Slice, UFC President stated that he is "done". Kimbo was dominated by the fellow TUF 10 participant Matt Mitrione, failing to deliver any damage to the "Meathead":
"That's probably Kimbo's last fight in the UFC," Dana White said at the post-fight press conference. "He's doneWe're probably going to cut him."
Paul Daley may sign for Strikeforce, who are desperately looking for the top Welterweight contender to challenge Nick Diaz for the title. The fight against Diaz could be one of the best striking shows of the recent years in MMA, not speaking about the pre-fight trash talk between the two. Twenty-seven year old Paul Daley is currently 23-9-2 in his MMA career, fighting out of Nottingham, England.

Dana has said this many times in the past and might still think so, Dana might like Kimbo as a person but not as a fighter. I don't think Dana thinks Kimbo deserves to be in a pro league yet like the UFC. Reply 2 years ago
time who use it are racist...lol nothing to do w/ he has over a year
and still hasnt improved much.......and to act like a dipchit like Silva did
his last fight They say he didnt fight the last rounds cuase he was tired and was being safe... which is sad to get wore out because you taunted to much...Silva is a stud he doesnt have to be a dumb ass...

He acctually looked really depresed, he knew he was getting cut. All that hard work and dedication to be in the UFC was wasted because Dana cut him after 1 lose. I feel really sorry for him, i hope he gets back on his feet again Reply 2 years ago
in acouple of years he will make it back to the UFC Reply 2 years ago
Kudos to Kimbo for being a stand-up guy. Reply 2 years ago
daley is a loser, and to cut him is the right answer for his acting!!! Reply 2 years ago
His name alone can make him rich if he has a good publicist. Plenty of brand-names out there who want to pay Kimbo to wear their gear. Reply 2 years ago
Stop posting under multiple nicks and getting all your short bus friends to sharp every retarded comment you make turd. And learn some english before you try to use words with more than 2 syllables. "Instigating"? Do you even know what that means? Reply 2 years ago
Sice was, is and always will be an overhyped crap mma'er who would never have been in mma if it wasn't for his youtube popularity with the wwe-types who think he's 'bad'. Pfft, all bling, no bang. Reply 2 years ago
Wow, what a high IQ you have! You are the best! WOW!!! =) Reply 2 years ago
UFC is a funny old beast, you throw a cheap shot after the bell you get kicked out, you throw a cheap shot when your opponent is already out cold before the bell (which has a greater potential to leave serious injury to recipient) and they'll argue that "it was in the heat of the moment" check out Rashad Evans v Sean Salmon or Henderson on Bisping both fights ended with equally cheap shots but no serious consequences. Can you really not understand how one is a piddly nothing infraction that should at most get him a point deducted for faking. While the other, is a serious slap in the face to MMA and the UFC. Can you see how one is minor, while the other is something that they can't tolerate? Is it that tough for you?... Reply 2 years ago
Can you see how what you're saying is absolute crap? How the sport itself is actually an issue for some and not whether it's by mma rules or not? Or is your head too far up your butt to smell your own crap? Reply 2 years ago
There is a real difference there. Try hard, you'll see it... Reply 2 years ago
As far as Kimbo is concerned, I have said from square one that he would never be a real contender. To little to late. I wish he and Dana had worked something out sooner, but he is now outside what would have been his prime. I still think the cut was premature because it was Dana's choice to give him a contract, so with that said how are u gonna cut a guy thats 1-1? Reply 2 years ago
